Como Park is one of the true gems of the region. In addition to Como Lake and the Pavilion you will find picnic grounds, Como Pool and Water park, picnic areas, Golf course, Mini-golf, an amusement park and a working 1900's carousel staffed in the summer by volunteers. If that's not all, visit the Como Zoo and Marjorie McNeely Como Conservatory open every day of the year including holidays. Both have recently been modernized and are free to the public with the suggestion of a small donation. There are very few free zoos left in the US and none that we know of that boast a plant conservatory of 700 tropical and exotic plants. The Como Park is a world class destination for families and couples.
"The Marjorie McNeely Conservatory has two acres under glass with a number of different wings dedicated to a variety of plant life including bonsai trees, ferns, orchids and seasonal flowers. The Marjorie McNeely Conservatory also features many outdoor gardens."

The Inn is located on a quiet residential street. Just down the hill and across a winding avenue that circles Como Lake is the 380 acre Como Park. Guests enjoy the 2.5 miles of paved walking paths or for more vigorous exercise; a 1.5 mile run around the lake. Cyclists riding the Gateway Trail will take the short hop from the trail stay at the Inn. In the winter guests will cross country ski on the groomed trails at the Como Golf Course and in the Summer stop at the Como Park Pavilion which has great free concerts and houses the 4 star Como Dockside Bar and Grill year round.
