\Comfortable, restful and charming inn

"We stayed in the Lakeside Room, a double room on the second floor. We arrived in the late afternoon and were so impressed with the beautiful flower gardens around the inn. We were seeing them for the first time, since our prior visits had been prior to the growing season. The house inside was just as lovely and clean as we remembered from our prior two stays. It is a very well-managed B&B, yet on each visit we have felt relaxed and at home there. The Innkeeper is very understanding of our needs on our research visits and she is very personable and welcoming. We have now stayed enough times that we feel comfortable stating that this inn reliably offers a 5-star experience. We hope to return often."

 This is a wonderful place

"Como Lake B and B is lovely. It is beautiful and well taken care of. We went because we wanted to see Danny O'keefe, one of our favorite singer/songwiters. He was fabulous and unforgettable. We would love to visit this place again. Carla, the proprietor, was very helpful, kind and interesting. And breakfast was very good!!"

The Como Lake Bed & Breakfast is a 5 star rated Inn which sits on the crest of a hill overlooking historic Como Lake. It is three miles from downtown St. Paul and nine from Minneapolis. Its location in a safe and quiet residential neighborhood close to bus lines and a convenient 20 minute drive from the airport affords our guests convenience coupled with peace and privacy. Street parking is right out front.

The three story Craftsman residence was built in 1915 by Elav Ericsson and fully restored by the Innkeeper, Carla Sherman in 2010. There are two guest rooms on the second floor and the entire third floor forms another suite perfect for a romantic getaway weekend.

Guests will enjoy the comfortable sitting areas filled with Carla's eclectic collection of antiques.  Whether you're in St. Paul for pleasure or business, to check out the area colleges or have a romantic evening, this charming residence will be your home away from home.
