Carla Sherman  met the Como Lake B&B while it was still a home. She raised  her four children there. In 2006 she began work on the renovation project that would take 3 years to complete.

 The kitchen was modernized, bathrooms added and floors and woodwork were restored. The crown jewel of the Inn is the third floor Aerie Suite.  Carla's impeccable design sense comes from her work as a Realtor and her training in Design from the University of Minnesota.  In preparation for running the B&B, she studied Culinary Arts and Hospitality at Saint Paul College. Her favorite color? Orange.
